1938 · first perfection
Joe Henry Carter's surviving Greenbrier records is 6–0, with 228 points scored and 20 allowed.
1938 FEATURE1940 · the Bobcat name
The Hall of Fame preserves the school-identity milestone: Greenbrier students voted in May 1940 to make the Bobcat the emblem of its teams.
THE BOBCAT NAME1941 · county champions
The school record lists Greenbrier as Robertson County Association champions at 6–2.
1941 SEASON1941–42 · George Fisher
A football and basketball captain whose Greenbrier story leads through the wartime years and into a long Austin Peay athletics career.

The school history records no football team in either season. The gap stays in the public timeline because it is part of the program story.

Jimmy Suter begins the postwar chapter with four documented wins and one unresolved Adams result.

Harold Fletcher goes 4–5, then 5–4, then 10–0. The turnaround ends with the Lower Cumberland Valley championship.
FLETCHER TURNAROUND1955 · ten-and-oh
Greenbrier finishes 10–0, 231–51 in season scoring, and closes with a 25–6 championship-playoff win over Ashland City.
