Greenbrier moved into Class 4A and Region 5 with a clear goal: return to the playoffs. The Bobcats won their first five games, outscoring opponents 142–64 and matching the program's best start since 1981. Three of those wins came in region play, and a 42–7 response to Fairview's shutout made the region record 4–0.
The Cheatham trip completed a two-game, 77–26 rebound and sent Greenbrier into its open week at 7–1. Springfield then broke a 14–14 halftime tie, and unbeaten White House won the rain-soaked finale. The final three games produced a 21–70 scoring swing. Greenbrier still finished third in Region 5-4A and returned to the postseason for the first time since 2014.
The regular season closed at 7–3 with a 233–188 scoring line. Across six region games, Greenbrier outscored its opponents 137–98 and finished 4–2.
The schedule was stronger than the raw 7–4 record suggests. Six opponents reached the playoffs. Every Greenbrier loss came against one of them, while the Bobcats beat two more—Creek Wood and Cheatham County. Those eleven opponents finished a combined 63–62; Springfield reached the Class 4A title game, and Fairview and Jackson South Side reached quarterfinals.

A two-way force and Region 5-4A defensive-back honoree. At West Creek he ran for 125 yards and two touchdowns, intercepted two passes and recovered a fumble; his goal-line interception turned the Cheatham game.
Captain, quarterback and the region's punter honoree. His late first-half touchdown pass at Springfield completed a two-score comeback, and his passing connected the early-season offense.
Region linebacker honoree and the team's other featured runner. He scored in each of the first four games, ran for 158 yards at Cheatham and supplied Greenbrier's playoff touchdown.
Captain, Region 5-4A offensive-line honoree and Tennessee Football Coaches Association All-State Class 4A selection.
Both were captains. Toby earned the region offensive-line honor; Tanner earned the fullback honor and caught touchdown passes at West Creek, Heritage and Springfield.
Captain and Region 5-4A defensive-line honoree on a team that held three regular-season opponents to seven points or fewer.
The preseason roster carried three sets of twins: seniors Payton and Parker Brown, seniors Toby and Tanner Lynch, and freshmen Andy and Kenny Li. The Browns and Lynches also appear throughout the game and honor records.
Captain register: Andrew Cline, Preston Edwards, Jacob Elmore, Tanner Lynch and Toby Lynch. Greenbrier's honor register also lists Nathan Ford, Tanner Mellinger, Parker Brown and Payton Brown beneath its Region 5-4A section; because the surviving hierarchy is not fully explicit, this page keeps their names attached to the school register without inventing positions.
