A note on the records
TSSAA’s school summary labels Greenbrier a dual runner-up in 2017 and 2018. The detailed tournament brackets show losses in the third-place matches in both years, establishing fourth-place finishes. These pages use the detailed results. Greenbrier’s school awards page calls 2015–20 six consecutive team state championships; the TSSAA brackets document six consecutive state dual appearances.
The 2018 Fairview–Greenbrier bout sheet also contains a score conflict: its heading says 39–21, while the bottom table totals 46–21. The tournament bracket and schedule agree with the heading’s 39–21, which is used here. Both totals remain in the research ledger.
