Every win came by pin
Anthony Collins’ fifth-place finish carries a story inside the bracket. The Greenbrier senior won four bouts, all by fall, at the 2018 Class A-AA state tournament.
After a quarterfinal loss, he returned through the consolation bracket with pins over James Hollingsworth and Donte Regan. A sudden-victory loss to Michael Moore sent him to the fifth-place bout, where he pinned Fairview’s Tristan Mann in 3:32.
Collins went 4–2 at the tournament. The official final results list his season record as 22–6 at 195 pounds.
