Greenbrier football record

Four shutouts, a winning point margin and two printed score conflicts

5–5

Greenbrier opened with shutouts of Cheatham and Macon. After losses to Hickman and Goodlettsville, Mike Clark scored three touchdowns in a 21–6 win over White House.

The retained DeKalb final is 31–0, not the 35–0 printed in a newspaper headline; the scoring summary itself totals 31. Portland then rallied for an 8–7 win that decided the district race.

A fourth shutout came against Jo Byrns. Trousdale closed the season with another printed conflict: the school list and independent schedule agree on 34–0, while the newspaper headline says 32–0. The 5–5 Bobcats still finished plus-17 on the scoreboard.
