Corlew’s debut reached 5–1 before a four-game slide
One-score wins over Cheatham and Macon preceded a 16–0 shutout of Hickman County, giving Corlew a 3–0 start as head coach.
Goodlettsville handed Greenbrier its first loss. The Bobcats then shut out Mt. Pleasant and beat White House 26–8 to stand 5–1 with a 111–52 scoring edge.
DeKalb, Portland, Waverly and Trousdale closed the season with four losses. Greenbrier scored 15 and allowed 107 in that final block, turning the fast start into a 5–5 finish.
