A Difficult Start, Then a Breakthrough

The newspaper trail documents a hard season without dressing it up. Greenbrier stood 0-5 in early October. The breakthrough came against East Robertson: Kurt McBee rushed for 185 yards and scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns in a 21-7 win. A Farmer-family photograph adds community texture.
