The winning time survives
The official 2013 TSSAA meet results put Greenbrier senior Brennan Huber first in the Class A-AA 800 meters in 1:55.70. Greenbrier also placed fourth in the 4×800 relay that day, finishing in 8:24.51.
Chattanooga’s later biography identifies Huber as a member of that relay and a 2013 Greenbrier graduate. It also credits him with helping the Bobcats to a cross-country team runner-up finish during his junior year.
From the Bobcats to college running
Huber ran at Tennessee Tech before transferring to Chattanooga. In 2016 he earned second-team All-Southern Conference honors, placing 11th at the conference cross-country championship in 24:33.88 over eight kilometers.
Record note: Chattanooga’s biography lists a 2013 state-meet 800-meter personal record of 1:55.3. TSSAA’s original final results show 1:55.70, the winning time used here. The college biography’s figure is retained separately in our research record.
