Six wins, four shutouts and a tie
The six victories were emphatic on defense: four shutouts, only thirteen total points allowed and a combined 136 scored. Greenbrier opened by blanking Gallatin Union and Westmoreland 49–0.
White House won 7–0, then Charlotte and Greenbrier tied 14–14. The Bobcats later beat East Robertson, Jo Byrns, Mt. Juliet and Joelton while losing to Dickson and Ashland City.
The school score list does not attach a conference title to 1967 and labels 1968 the Red River Valley champion. Jerry Pearson’s Hall profile instead places the title in 1967, so both wordings remain visible by source.

The surviving records do not fully agree
Jerry Pearson’s Hall profile places the Red River Valley title in 1967. Greenbrier’s score list does not label 1967 a champion and places the championship beneath 1968.
One season inside a six-year bridge
The combined 1963–68 record totals 38–22–1, 1,072–768 and 18 shutout wins. It moves from the 1963 reset into three Red River Valley titles and two bowl appearances.
