Hire caught a Scotty Knight touchdown pass in the 1988 shutout at Houston County and a 37-yard score against Hickman County.
A July 1989 preview called him one of the area’s best split ends and recorded 78 tackles from his junior season at linebacker. The roster and clippings also identify Jeremy Hire as a separate player, so the two names remain on separate profile pages.
