A 2–0 start, a Homecoming win and every game on film.
Greenbrier opened with a 21–7 home win over Springfield and a 28–7 road win at Creek Wood. Four straight losses followed before the Bobcats beat Macon County on Homecoming, then three losses closed the season.
The Sycamore and White House Heritage losses were the two one-score games. Greenbrier finished 3–7 overall, 1–4 in District 9-AA and fifth in the six-team district during Kirk Williams' 15th season as head coach.
The displayed 23–14 Macon result follows HSFHA, which flags both numbers disputed; the independent team history reports 24–13. That produces season totals of either 186–223 or 187–222 and district scoring of either 90–134 or 91–133.
Seven opponents reached the postseason. White House advanced to the Class 4A quarterfinals; White House Heritage, Westmoreland and several others also played into November. HSFHA opponent records add to 49–63, while the independent history reports 49–62 because it lists Goodpasture with one fewer loss.
