Football comes back
Football returned with immediate results. Greenbrier beat Coopertown 19–12, Cross Plains 25–6, Cedar Hill 25–8 and Cross Plains again 27–6. The four recovered finals add to 96–32, an average known-game score of 24–8.
The Cross Plains rematch gives the season its clearest two-game thread: two Greenbrier wins by a combined 52–12. The seven-point Coopertown opener was the closest of the known finishes; the other three were decided by at least 17.
A fifth opponent line names Adams but supplies no score or result. The printed 4–0 heading therefore describes the four known outcomes—not a proven five-game final record. That distinction stays open until another source settles the Adams game.
