A returning starter who reached second-team All-Mid-State
Allen was one of the two returning starters identified before Steve Sorrells’ first season. He made the 1988 All-Robertson County team and remained a defensive focal point during the following year’s 147-point improvement.
The school honors record names him second-team All-Mid-State, All-District 10-2A and first-team All-Robertson County in 1989. Contemporary coverage also singled him out after the Fairview game.
