GAME STORY / CONTEXT

2003 vs. Page

That page now belongs to stories at once: the 2003 season itself and the buildup to the 2005 Streak Stoppers breakthrough.

Greenbrier recovered with wins over Montgomery Central and Sycamore, then went to Page with the Region 5-3A lead at stake. Page scored late to pull within 21–19, but a swarm of Bobcat defenders stopped the potential tying two-point conversion. The win left Greenbrier alone atop the region.

The Page story credits Herndon with 153 rushing yards ; the later Greenbrier 100-yard workbook says 149. Both figures are shown.
