Two weeks after the breakthrough, the bracket sent White House back to Greenbrier. The same rivalry produced the opposite result.
Round 1 · Meigs County
Greenbrier’s region title meant home-field advantage. The Bobcats opened the playoffs with a 21–0 shutout of Meigs County on Nov. 4, their fourth shutout in six games.

Round 2 · White House, again
White House advanced 10–3 over Polk County. That produced a Nov. 11 return to Greenbrier, just two weeks after the Bobcats’ 20–10 regular-season win.
The rematch was tied 7–7 late. Ricky Ladd’s touchdown supplied the deciding score, White House won 14–7, and the 2005 season ended at 9–3.
