Greenbrier’s rushing records list Derrick Lucas at 159 yards against White House, his largest 100-yard game preserved in the 1994 record. The Bobcats scored 42 and still lost by six.

Ninety points before the playoff return
White House won 48–42 after eight overtimes on Oct. 21, 1994. Greenbrier’s rushing register credits Derrick Lucas with 159 yards, and the surviving film keeps the full marathon connected to the result.
The loss did not end the November path. Greenbrier answered with a 31–7 win over Houston County, finished the regular season 5–5 and returned to the TSSAA playoffs for the first time since 1977.
