Four seasons through two titles
The Hall identifies Edwards as a 1967 graduate who played football for four years. It places him on the 1964 and 1965 Red River Valley championship teams and remembers him as a defensive star and outstanding fullback wearing No. 32.
As a senior, Edwards captained the 1966 team and earned All-Red River Valley Conference recognition. Greenbrier’s captain register also lists him in 1966 with Danny Allgood and Joel Earheart.
A short life remembered
The Hall preserves his place
The profile says Edwards lost his life shortly after graduating from Greenbrier. The current record does not add circumstances that the Hall does not provide.
