A player-level center for the title teams
The Hall identifies Parker as a 1966 graduate and four-year football and basketball player. Its football record credits him with nearly 2,200 rushing yards across three seasons and 159 career points.
Parker earned All-Red River Valley, All-Mid-State and team-MVP honors in both 1964 and 1965 while helping Greenbrier win consecutive conference championships.
White House, 1965
The Hall says Parker considered the White House win for the conference title the highlight of his career. Greenbrier’s score sheet records that final as 25–0 and labels the season Red River Valley champion.
After Greenbrier, the Hall says Parker played one football season at Middle Tennessee State before a shoulder injury ended his career.
