Kim Parker and the return to the top
The Greenbrier Athletic Hall of Fame credits Kim Parker with nearly 2,200 rushing yards over three seasons, 159 career points, All-Red River Valley Conference and All-Mid-State honors in both 1964 and 1965, and team MVP honors in both championship seasons.
1964
Greenbrier rebounded from the 1963 reset to go 8–3 and beat White House 34–0 in the Red River Valley championship game.
1964 SEASON1965
The Bobcats went 9–2, repeated as conference champions and reached the Athletic Bowl at Dickson. Parker later described the 1965 White House win for the conference title as the highlight of his Greenbrier career.
