The next chapter
Before becoming Greenbrier’s head coach in 2026, Aaron Pitts played on Lawrence County’s 1999 Mississippi state championship team, then at Copiah-Lincoln Community College and Middle Tennessee. He recorded 12 interceptions across two junior-college seasons. At MTSU in 2002–03, he appeared in 23 games, made one start and totaled 20 tackles. Pitts belongs here as a Greenbrier coach and contributor, not as a Greenbrier High graduate.
