Oct. 9, 2015 · Whites Creek
Away · Region 5-3A · first series meeting · Greenbrier 35–28 Whites Creek · record after game 4–4 · region record 2–2.
Greenbrier fumbled on its first three possessions and fell behind 14–0, then tied the game by halftime and ran for more than 300 yards. Jacob Waffird carried 24 times for 195 yards; Isaiah Farmer added 112 yards on 18 carries behind Austin Merrill, Adeeb Al-Nimri, Toby Lynch, Hunter Presley, Jordan Perdue and Tyler Deaton.
The Bobcats took their first lead at 21–14 in the third quarter and answered a 28–21 deficit with two fourth-quarter touchdowns to win the first meeting in the series. The contemporary story's individual scoring attributions do not reconcile with the secure 35-point team total, so VOTCLive keeps the final, period line and yardage without choosing which attribution is wrong.
Scoring by period
| Team | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | Final |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Greenbrier | 0 | 14 | 7 | 14 | 35 |
| Whites Creek | 14 | 0 | 6 | 8 | 28 |
Scoring audit: the 35–28 final and 0–14–7–14 Greenbrier period line are secure. The contemporary report credits four Waffird touchdowns, one Farmer touchdown and also names a Hankins tying touchdown—six attributions for a five-touchdown team total. The contradiction is retained and no individual scoring correction is guessed.
