2005 vs. Station Camp
Greenbrier’s response to the Cheatham loss was immediate: a 34–0 shutout of Station Camp. The newspaper photo caption says the Bobcat defense held the Bison below 150 total offensive yards.
It was Greenbrier’s 17th consecutive region victory. More importantly for the shape of the season, it started a run of three straight shutouts that would carry the Bobcats from the low point at Cheatham into first place in Region 4-3A.
Grogan takes over at quarterback
In the following week’s Sycamore discussion, COACHHARD identified the Station Camp game as sophomore Justin Grogan’s first start at quarterback. GreenbrierCat2 named Justin Grogan in the same exchange and described the change as creating more opportunities for Kyle Herndon in the backfield.
