1991 vs. Springfield

In District 10-AA, Greenbrier finished fifth at 1–4. The district win was a 21–6 victory over Macon County. Springfield won the district at 5–0, followed by Westmoreland, White House and Portland before Greenbrier and Macon County.

The next week produced the season’s strongest passing line. In the 33–6 Springfield loss, Todd Williamson went 9-of-19 for 156 yards and hit Adam Marlett for a 76-yard touchdown . Marlett finished with seven catches for 138 yards and also made eight tackles with an assist. The same story records Todd Dorris with nine tackles and five assists and Jeff Ward with five tackles before a shoulder injury.
