1991 vs. Macon Co.

In District 10-AA, Greenbrier finished fifth at 1–4. The district win was a 21–6 victory over Macon County. Springfield won the district at 5–0, followed by Westmoreland, White House and Portland before Greenbrier and Macon County.

The season itself moved in fits and starts. After the opening loss to Montgomery Central, Greenbrier beat Macon County 21–6. Cheatham County then shut the Bobcats out 22–0; the game story says Greenbrier was held under 100 yards of total offense and trailed 15–0 at halftime, while Steve Sorrells singled out Shannon Swatman, Adam Marlatt and Bernie Hudgens on defense.
