GAME STORY / CONTEXT

1990 vs. White House

The final three games turned a promising 4–3 start into the 4–6 finish. White House won 38–14, Westmoreland won 35–9 and Portland closed the season 42–7. The Westmoreland scoring summary confirms Greenbrier was 4–5 after that game and lists the Bobcats' scoring plays: a 20-yard field goal by Ludvig Swedjemark and a 5-yard touchdown run credited in the newspaper to Jamie Hire .

Greenbrier's 100-yard rushing records supplies another piece of the varsity picture. Jeremy Hire ran for 130 yards against Houston County and 109 against White House. The Houston County performance came in the 13–0 shutout, while the White House performance came in a rivalry loss.
