The State Stage

One front door for Greenbrier’s TSSAA championship appearances across sports. This page uses TSSAA for official state-tournament appearances, finals and individual championship results; school and Hall-of-Fame records remain separate when their terminology differs.

GREENBRIER · STATE HISTORY

More than football.

The TSSAA record stretches from the 1930 boys basketball tournament to modern Spring Fling, volleyball championships, individual champions and annual wrestling qualifiers. The goal here is not to reproduce every bracket; it is to make Greenbrier’s state-level footprint visible and link visitors to the official record.

Wrestling record note

Greenbrier High School’s athletics page lists six consecutive “Team Wrestling State Championships” from 2015 through 2020. TSSAA’s official dual-wrestling record classifies those same six years as state dual appearances, with runner-up finishes in 2017 and 2018; TSSAA separately recognizes Toby Lynch as the 2018 Class A-AA 220-pound individual champion. VOTC preserves both source labels rather than rewriting one into the other.
