Two postseason recognitions
Greenbrier’s school honors file names Bloodworth All-Class A and All-Conference. Ricky Highsmith is the other Bobcat listed in both groups; Bill Choate and Steve Pendley join them on the conference list.
The recognition belongs to the team that started 0–3, won six of its final seven and finished Red River Valley Conference runner-up. That closing run totaled 196–72 and included shutouts of Charlotte and East Robertson plus 58 points against Jo Byrns.
The honors register establishes Bloodworth’s place in the season without assigning him a particular scoring play or defensive result.
The honor is known; the role remains open
The current football collection does not establish Bloodworth’s position, class year, season statistics or later career. Those details stay open rather than being inferred from the team record.
