From Greenbrier to the next level
Chance Merithew brought his Greenbrier catching experience to UT Martin. As a Bobcat junior, he hit .354 and earned first-team all-county recognition. In 2022, he started 22 games for the Skyhawks and threw out 11 would-be base stealers, fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference. His record offers a story about the work behind the plate as well as the bat.
