Homecoming becomes the second straight shutout.

Greenbrier entered the Sycamore game one week removed from a 34–0 win over Station Camp. The defense was even tighter at Homecoming, holding the War Eagles to 14 total offensive yards and forcing three turnovers in a 19–0 victory.

The Bobcats ran for 260 yards. Troy Dill carried 21 times for 135 yards and two touchdowns as Greenbrier moved to 5–2 and set up a trip to unbeaten-in-region Pearl-Cohn.

The season kept building from there. Greenbrier completed three straight shutouts, finished 6–0 in Region 4-3A and ended White House’s 23-game winning streak in the series on Senior Night.
