Greenbrier’s 100-yard rushing records list six games for him: 105 against Sycamore, 130 against Pope John Paul II, 185 against Macon County, 192 against DeKalb County, 193 against Portland and 230 against Cheatham County. The Cheatham entry also credits him with three rushing touchdowns and one receiving score.
The DeKalb County game adds another piece. WJLE’s contemporary report says Ziegler returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown. That report gives the final as 46–27, correcting the 45–27 opponent total in the Greenbrier score record.
