The 1989 scrapbook gives us a rare sequence rather than a single retrospective. On April 20 the Lady Bobcats were still undefeated; on April 27 tournament coverage had them at 12-0; by May 11 the newspaper headline read “Push Softball Record To 18-0.”
The recurring contemporary coverage names Steve Sorrells as coach and preserves the district/regional tournament trail. This page intentionally follows what the scrapbook supports rather than manufacturing a final season record from incomplete evidence.
