The district title comes back
The Greenbrier Athletic Hall of Fame records the 1974–75 Bobcats as District Champions, the first boys basketball district title at GHS in 28 years. The Hall also records 25 wins, then the second-highest win total by a Greenbrier boys team.
A milestone, not a state berth
TSSAA's championship history lists Greenbrier boys basketball state-tournament appearances only in 1930 and 1984. That makes 1974–75 important for exactly what the Hall says it was: a long-awaited district championship and a 25-win season.

Where it sits in the boys story
The 1975 title falls between Greenbrier's first state-tournament run in 1930 and the 1984 return to state. It gives the half-century between those trips a championship marker of its own.
